Introducing our Architectural Team

Appointing the Architectural Team is a significant milestone for the project, as anyone who has been involved in a construction project of any size will understand. Put simply, the Architectural Team play a vital role in translating all of our needs and desires into inspiring and practical designs, which ultimately we will use and enjoy for many many years.

With this in mind we’ve taken extra time and care with the appointment of our Architectural Team, and are happy to announce that Steve Campbell (Building Designer - based in the Sunshine Coast, Australia) and Stephan Meijer (Architect - based in Motueka, NZ) will work in collaboration on this project. Further details about Steve and Stephan can be found on their respective websites (see below) - needless to say we’re really excited about the broad range of skills and experience they will collectively bring to this project.

I feel very honoured to be part of this exciting REN XUE project, to me it is the most meaningful and important project I have ever been involved in. I will endeavour to do my very best and very much look forward to working with such an amazing group of people that are working together as one to bring this project to fruition.

I am very honoured and excited to work on the design of the new REN XUE Center and very much looking forward to collaborating with Steve and all other parties involved to achieve the best outcome for everyone. I am very confident we are able to uplift people's lives by establishing a retreat center in beautiful Golden Bay. Although it might be a long process, I will use all my skills, experience and local knowledge to make the process as smooth as possible.

​The first significant milestone we have in the consenting process is a pre-application meeting with Tasman District Council. Steve and Stephan will now be working towards producing some initial concept designs for this meeting, which we are aiming to have in March 2021.
