Ren Xue practitioner and professor in plant science, based in Christchurch, New Zealand
Greetings, I've been practising Ren Xue since 2020 and have found profound inspiration in its teachings and values. Since 2021, I've actively participated in the Ren Xue Golden Bay farm project, and since 2022, I've been a member of the Aotearoa Retreat Centre Steering Group.
My professional journey began in the environmental NGO sector overseas, eventually leading me to a fulfilling university career in plant science spanning three decades. My love for nature has driven my involvement in numerous projects related to sustainable agriculture and ecology in New Zealand and the Pacific Islands region. 
To engage harmoniously with the land, grounded in a deep respect for the diversity and abundance of life, aligns seamlessly with the principles of Ren Xue and the planned Retreat Centre. I am grateful  to bring to the Steering Group my energy and experience to help realise the vision of a Centre that embodies Ren Xue teaching and research for healthy and sustainable living and growth.
