Our Vision
The Ren Xue Centre Australasia holds a vision for a community. This will be a place for Ren Xue living and a space for us to actualise the purpose of Ren Xue - to live in harmony - with ourselves, our families, our community, with humanity and with nature.
As we move towards this goal, we embrace it's natural unfolding. The initial pioneers are living close by or on the land and we are enjoying the growth of the community as others look to move into their own properties or seek other creative ways to be involved from both near or far!

Our Plan
To provide accommodation for people living and working here, we have received approval for community dwellings on the farm. These are principally planned as farm workers accommodation - our plans for the farm are big, and diverse! We hope to develop a Ren Xue farm which encompasses many diverse land-based businesses, providing employment/job opportunities for people. The image below shows the "horseshoe area", located immediately behind the existing farmhouse. This area has a great outlook, is relatively sheltered, and has a feeling of being amongst the bush and close to the mountains of Kahurangi National Park immediately to the south.
This plan provides for 3 small self contained dwellings (80m2 + attached garage), and 6 smaller units (36m2 each) located adjacent to a communal services building. With the focus currently on the retreat centre itself, the timeframe for the establishment of these dwellings is long term. We will keep you posted about any new developments in this space.
